“Portaferry Coastal Rowing Club are grateful to the newly opened Portaferry Recreation Hub for allowing them to host their annual regatta on Saturday 14th April. The event was a great success, helped with the continual support from the sailing club. Full use was made of the Hub facilities and outdoor areas, the tv for the duration of the Grand National plus the Hub manager standing in as photographer when needed! It was a great community event – thank you.”

“The New Community recreation hub has provided a much needed venue in Portaferry.
I myself have taught pilates in the Ards Peninsula for 10 years now and it is always been a difficulty for me to have a suitable venue.
I have started teaching pilates in the community room every W ednesday night and we are all really enjoying the space. Not only is it bright, clean and airy but there is a beautiful energy in the room. It is easily accessed and the French doors provides light with a view to the garden. It is a lovely space for Pilates and all my clients love it.”
